Fireclay checker bricks for hot blast stove have good volume stability, low creep under high temperature, low apparent porosity and high bulk density. 

The fireclay checker bricks are mainly used in hot blast stove. When hot blast is below 900 Deg. C, chequer bricks are use of clay refractory brick; If the temperature for the hot blast is above 900 Deg. C, Chequer bricks is use of high alumina brick, mullite brick, silicon brick and etc.
